ASPIRE – IITB Research Park Foundation successfully organised its first-ever Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with Sthaniya Lokadhikar Samiti, IIT Bombay, and with the support of the Blood Bank at KEM Hospital. The initiative brought together the ASPIRE and IIT Bombay community in a collective effort to contribute towards a meaningful social cause.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from ASPIRE employees, member companies, IIT Bombay faculty, students, researchers, and campus residents, reflecting the strong culture of community engagement and social responsibility that defines the ASPIRE ecosystem. Following the mandatory health screening conducted by the medical team from KEM Hospital, numerous volunteers came forward to donate blood, making the initiative a resounding success.
More than just a health initiative, the drive served as a reminder of the power of collective action and the impact that small individual contributions can have in saving lives. The event also reinforced ASPIRE's commitment to creating opportunities that extend beyond innovation and research by fostering a culture of service, compassion, and civic responsibility within the campus community.
ASPIRE extends its sincere appreciation to Sthaniya Lokadhikar Samiti, IIT Bombay, the dedicated team from KEM Hospital Blood Bank, all volunteers, member companies, faculty members, students, campus residents, and everyone involved in organising and supporting the initiative. As ASPIRE continues to strengthen its engagement with the wider community, this inaugural Blood Donation Drive marks the beginning of many more impactful outreach programmes in the years ahead.
